I am a Visual Artist and Acupuncturist/Bodywork Therapist based in NJ.

I've lived almost my entire life with progressive hearing loss and have had to learn to rely heavily on visual cues. This personal loss has inspired the use of a symbolic vocabulary that explores the themes of communication, isolation, adaption and transformation.

In recent years I have been creating mixed media works on paper that combine drawing and painting. I am most interested in the process of making art - the ongoing give and take in the evolution of the final form.

Oh, and I do believe that art can transform lives.
